Exotic Medicine

Dr Sprissler sees a variety of exotic animals for routine care and medical services including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, different species of birds and reptiles including bearded dragons, snakes and leopard geckos. Exotics require specialized care, just like our cats and dogs do.

Yearly exams, and ensuring proper nutrition and habitat requirements for the individual species is key to keeping your pet healthy and happy.

What to Expect At Your Appointment

During your exam, Dr Sprissler will do a detailed head to toe examination, and thoroughly discuss any medical concerns. Please ensure to bring a detailed list of what the day to day diet includes, a description of your pets cage and if a reptile, what the humidity and temperature of the environment is on a daily basis.

Please make us aware if your pet has any behavioural conditions that should be noted ahead of time.
